The REVO WINCH, a Low Profile Revo With Low Speed Gears for retrieving a deep diving crankbait, the low profile Revo Winch from Abu Garcia features powerful low-speed 5.4:1 gears to bring that bait back at the right speed without wearing the angler down. Pulling an eight-pound bass out of a heavy growth of hydrilla is no challenge for the Winch. The Winch uses oversized Duragear gears made of heavy-duty and corrosion resistant brass. The X-Cräftic aluminum alloy one-piece frame and side plate also resists corrosion for a lifetime of solid Abu Garcia performance, yet the lightweight 8.54-ounce reel is comfortable to use all day long. Adding to the reel’s corrosion resistant features are eleven HPCR (High Performance Corrosion Resistant) bearings. A smooth drag is critical to fish management and our now world famous Carbon Matrix Drag System incorporates the most consistent drag pull of any reel in its class—a full 24 pounds of drag! With Carbon Matrix Drag, anglers feel a solid and smooth line drag, not the erratic pull of line felt on most other drag systems. Available in both a right- and left-hand version, the Winch has a line capacity of 175 yards of 12-pound monofilament fishing line. The six-pin centrifugal brake system is easy to adjust to match ever-changing fishing conditions. Salt or fresh, like all Abu Garcia reels, they are "Built for Life".
