Wow, Mr. young in the other review sure can tell allot just by holding a reel. I guess I was too dumb to realize when I first picked one up so I actually used one and I believe Mr. Young should have done the same before casting such harsh criticism. Maybe he would have realized it was one of the best reels he ever used like I did. In my boat it's in pretty high company, Curado's, Pt's, Zillion's, three other Ardents. I hope I didn't use too many big words so maybe Mr. young can understand he's dead wrong. Just try one for yourself.

Not worth it

After seeing this in hand I would say for the price it is just not worth it. Brakes are hard to get at. Quality isn't there. and overall not impressed. Made in the US is the only good thing about this reel for the price look for something else very unsatisfied glad I didn't follow through with the final purchase. SBN BestnetManAround
