Noctular® lenses were first introduced in 1994. The base material is polycarbonate. A layer of polarizing film is laminated between two layers of polycarbonate and then
thermoformed into an optical quality lens. A double thickness scratch resistant coating is then applied to both the front and the back surfaces. The result is the lightest weight, most impact resistant, optical quality lens in the sunglass market.
Noctular® series lenses have maximum polarization and filter all UVA and UVB wavelengths.
The Bat Eye raised the bar for performance sunglasses. Interchangeable lenses that mount on metal pegs, vent holes across the top edge of the frame, and a frame that can be adjusted without heating make the Bat Eye the ultimate performance sunglass.
