My favorite topwater line

I only use the line for 1 thing but its important- Topwater. In a topwater line I want something that floats and casts well. XT does both well. I honestly cant see much difference when casting topwater baits in how the XT casts compared to other Triline lines but I can see a difference in how it isnt as soft and doesnt nick up as easy. Maybe its the rod I use or the fact that topwaters cast well but it seems to work great for me. If you were casting lighter baits the XL might work but for baits that cast well I dont see any reason not to pick the XT. XT works great for other baits than topwaters but I tend to use more florocarbons and copolymers these days instead. But if you have troubles missing fish on trebles or you still want to stick with monos then this is a good line. I caught fish on XT for years and its not any less effective now and most likely I could catch as many fish on XT as I do with the new superlines. XT is just a good all around line and still has its place even if you like the new superlines.
