For those larger shakey head fish

I like 5in worms for putting limits in the boat but when I need bigger fish or I am in murky water I go with the 7in shakey head worm. It has the bulk of a standard plastic worm. I use the gulp shakey worm when I know I am on a good shakey head bite or I am fishing dirtier water. All gulp products are smelly suckers. I caught catfish on a gulp shakey head before fishing a river. They also are a little more durable and thicker. The shape isn't perfect on each worm which is why I use a standard jighead and Alabama rig them instead of using a screw in jig head. The colors aren't as good as roboworm colors but if your on a good shakey head bite the greenpumkin does fine. One downside to gulp products is they dry out like pork. Keep that in mind if you rig one up and don't throw it all day. I usually start with another worm until I am sure I will be throwing a shakey head a lot. But if you know you will using a shakey head a lot don't worry about it. The size of the gulp shakey worm is great its thick enough to last but still has great action. If you tear it up rotate it on your jighead to get more use from each worm. Also you can cut off 1/2inch of the head if its tore up. Just don't bite it Gulp products don't taste as good to humans. If you haven't tried a gulp product these would be a good place to start. They are one of favorite shakey head worms.

I have used these for the past year, and rarely have another worm on when using a shakey head. I have caught so many keeper size fish on these that it is ridiculous. This bait floats very well with the tail straight up when on the bottom and will catch fish when others can't. Great lure with good colors. Durability is really good with this lure.
