Big Bite Baits WarMouth
Big Bite Baits
WarMouth, the latest signature bait from Big Bite Pro staffer Dean Rojas. The
WarMouth is a deadly sight fishing bait that has helped Dean to top finishes.
The subtle kicking action of the legs also make it a great swim jig trailer. The
WarMouth is compact at 3.5" long and designed to be fished with a Extra Wide Gap
worm hook. Looking at the Big Bite WarMouth you can see special things that have
been done to the bait to allow it to be fished on its side without line twist.
The legs and body design allow the bait to be rigged Texas style and fished
sideways without spinning on the fall. This gives the bait a natural gliding
action on the fall. If you look closer at the Big Bite Baits WarMouth you will
see three ridges that are molded into the flat side of the body. These ridges
let you skin hook your hook point to make it weedless and allow great hook
penetration.

There are mixed feelings with this bass bait. The first cast produced a 3.5lb 17.xx" fish, and only limited success since. Texas rigging seems to be the best right now, with the high heat of summer, perhaps a Carolina rig might be better. During the spawn a lightly weighted swimbait w/ screwlock style keeper or rigged weightless and this bass bait could be a very effective lure.
Pro's
-Good plastic that hasn't ripped/torn after 5 decent fish.
-Unique death spiral with the right hook.
-Fairly weedless
-Attracts small to large fish.
-Erratic swimming motion.
-Spring spawning bait with located fish.
Con's
-Not a great search bait.
-Spiral fall could cause line twist issues with spinning gear.
-Erratic swimming motion.
