The Black Dog Lunker Punker is a larger cigar shaped top water bait that creates the Walk the Dog action that drives fish crazy. Just one twitch of the rod causes this bait to glide a foot or more to one side and a second twitch sends the bait gliding in the other direction, mimicking a large bait fish on the surface. The Lunker Punker can be fish multiple ways, it can be fished fast with short twitches causing a very tight S pattern, it can be worked slowly creating a very wide slithering pattern, you can also dead stick the bait or a combination of all three. The above retrieves are not only deadly on big bass but also work great for stripers.

The bait is available in two sizes, The 9 Lunker Punker and the 6.5 Punker Jr. and both are available in two great fish catching colors Rainbow Trout and Delta Shiner.

this bait catch big fish!

Took my 8" rainbow trout out for the first time to castaic lake and caught a monster stripper. I had my doubts but now I'm ready to buy more. get yours!

I love how this bait performs in the water. Use it up at Clear Lake all the time. Last summer, i was walking it along the edge of a tule line, and a blue heron came swooping down and attacked it. I didn't want to jerk the bait and have the heron get caught, so i froze up and let it sit. After the initial hit, it came back and swooped at it again!!! Unfortunately, when I brought it back to the boat, there was a huge puncture in the side of it from the talon. Bad day for me, but definitely 5 stars for the realistic paint job and action of the bait

Being from Michigan and just getting started with swimbaits to be quite honest I was a bit intimidated by this bait...after all its much larger than most any bait I was use to throwing for large mouth bass. Well you can rest assured that is now all history. This is a must have for any body of water. It has an absolutely great walk the dog action that brings them up. Like I said a must have but don't be shocked when you find yourself ordering a few more. SBN boomah21

This bait is awesome! I love the big wake it makes as it darts back and forth. I have the 6" and 8" models and both are pretty easy to work. The blowups I've had on them were huge! Black Dog has a real winner right here. Sn: TightLinez
