A solid flat shallow diver

There are few flat shallow divers at this price so that alone makes the Model Flat A Crankbaits a good option. I only have a few but every once in a while a situation comes up where I need one. The only way I really use a Flat A is pulling the bait down to the 3ft depth range and moving the bait with the rod several feet reeling the slack and repeating. Its almost like fishing a jerkbait but with a slow drag like you would use a Carolina rig. The Flat As don't seem to run straight out of the package and the ones I had needed some tuning but the caught fish when I tuned them. While its only a small application for these baits for me its one I use often in the fall and spring when a slower presentation is needed. Its mainly an option when I think a shallow crankbait or spinnerbait would work but doesn't. I like clearer water than what I would usually throw a shallow crankbait and it isn't a great bait to fish around heavy cover but it has caught some nice fish for me in the past.
