One of the top soft plastic swimbaits for good reason
Michael Carter (Winchester, KY) 12/30/2008 10:30 AM
The Tiny E was one of the first swimbaits I bought for good reason. While at first glance it doesnt look overly impressive the color schemes seem to grow on you. And in the water looking at the bait swim you realize what really matters in a quality swimbait. The Tiny E has subtle kicking action that is ideal in a bootail swimbait. While not weedless the Tiny E can be fished high in the water column easily to avoid snags. And for the angler who is just getting into swimbait fishing and hasnt invested in specialized tackle the Tiny E can be cast on standard bass gear. But the biggest advantage to the Tiny E is the hook setup. With the sliding hook fish cannot gain the leverage to throw the bait like with other swimbaits. Also this increases the life of the bait greatly. And for a softplastic swimbait the Tiny E holds up great, the plastic is just soft enought to give the bait great action but still resists tears very well. While not the most versatile bait when it comes to drawing fish up in clear water on a slow retrieve thats what swimbait fishing is all about. Personally I think if your looking for a smaller sized bootail swimbait with a belly treble you would be hard pressed to find a better swimbait than the Tiny E. sb-mrbassky1
