Conquistador Wired Worm

The Conquistador Tackle Wired Worm 450ST and 550ST are premium double hook finesse worms with a thin body, straight tail Mustad Ultra Point 3/0 darter head and a sharp size 1 Gamakatsu trailer hook.

Finesse Success:
When a finesse fishing is needed, try the 3/16oz darter head combined with 6lb test line and a spinning rod will give an angler the edge needed when the fishing is tough. Be Prepared! The Conquistador Tackle Wired Worm will catch very big fish under all fishing conditions.

The 1/4oz. weighted model provides a perfect balance between the jig head, a 3/0 jig hook and a slender body. For those anglers who prefer a smaller worm this is the perfect choice for all fishing conditions. This is the perfect bait when using a casting rod and 12 pound test. It casts well and has a relatively slow fall.

Suspended Bass:
Because the worm is nicely balanced it set up horizontally and resembles a shad or minnow. It is the perfect choice for catching suspended bass. The 1/4 oz head will get down to the fish fast. It is common to use the 1/4 oz. directly under the boat in 30, 40 even 50 feet of water. Locate fish with a trolling motor graph and drop the worm down to the level of the fish watching the bait as it sinks. The best bet is to use a spinning rod and 6 or 8 pound line for this technique.
