The cover lure is a great item that saves you time. It lets you keep you baits tangle free and is really useful if you keep baits on a rod in the rod locker. You don't need one for every rod but you will want one for anything with trebles for sure. If you want to keep a bait secret they work great but also if you just want to mess with competitors do this. Wait till you have big bag of fish. Put some lure on before you weigh in that is totally different than what you were catching fish on. Put the cover lure on bait half way every time someone new comes by your boat and looks at your rods scramble to put the cover lure back on the bait. Then just wait till the rumors spread. I know its cold but its all in good fun. But really the cover lure does help save time, treble hooks, and carpet. But if you get one you can have some with it as well.

Cover lure is a must have for any fisherman who stores rod in a rod locker. It is big enough to store some of your biggest lures. Your lures and lines wont get tangled up while in storage, and your lures wont get beat up. Also are great for storage while not on a rod, just so it can have its own space and not get beat up or tangled up. Great value for the price for no more hassle with tangles. (THEbassmaster)
