Deps Highsider Jr.
The
Highsider Jr. is a jointed minnow that incorporates 4 foam pieces that can be
worked with multiple retrieve speeds. Designed to produce an irregular flare,
the Highsider Jr. swims with a methodical flow as all of the joints follow each
other. The joints are joined with extra strong hardware to make sure the
monsters get to the boat and they also produce a loud clanking sound as they
bang against each other. With a fast retrieve speed, the Highsider Jr. can dive
to depths of 4-5 feet while rolling on its side producing an enticing flash
appeal. When stopped, it slow floats to the surface where it can be deadsticked
or twitched.
The
Highsider Jr. is weighted so that it can be fished with a fast retrieve to get
that reaction bite. All 4 pieces of the body flow in a rhythmic pattern, one
following the other. As the bait builds speed, it flashes from side to side in
an irregular motion. With a slow retrieve the Highsider Jr. emits a loud
clicking sound and an unusual wide roll and kick. The Highsider Jr. has
deadstick appeal The bait will sit with its head and tail buried in the water
while its back sticks out. With a jerk of the rod, it flares on its side.
