The Evolution Jig is the first
real innovative jig design to come along in over 40 years. Our NEW, Advanced
Skirt Forward Technology, along with our virtually invisible Fluorocarbon Weed
guard, makes the Evolution Jig the jig of choice.
Evolution Jigs are the only
jigs to also have the patent pending flaring disk and skid plate. These
qualities allow the Evolution jig to respond to every movement of the rod tip,
continuing to keep the Evolution Jig in an upright crawfish defense stature.

I gave this jig a 5 star, for obvious reasons. The revolutionary "skirt forward" design. This make the bait stand up, unlike some other jigs which you have to get a trailer that will have some buoyancy to get it up. The clear weed guard helps to make this look like the real deal. I use this deep and shallow. Deep when you need it to get down fast and present it to deep bass. Under docks as well, when you need to make the bass react to bite with a fast fall. These jigs are cheap as well, at only about $3.50 a piece,(come in 2 pack for about $7) they are some of the cheaper jigs on the market. (THEbassmaster)

Well you wanted a review here it is. I have used the Evolution jig with fantastic results, but it has it downsides. First off, the original line tie is honestly, a POS. The recessed tie, does it really have much of a benefit? Not to me, it will sure eat up your knots. I'd say one jig out of 3 has the ugliest line tie I've ever seen. The horizontal fall though, does produce good bites. The flouro weedguard helps, but won't work well in Heavy cover.
THE POSITIVE, is that I've seen in recent pictures that Megastrike has went with a tradional line tie, making this jig one of the best in my opinion. Now I just need to offload my 20 something jigs, so I can get the new updated style. *sigh* SN-Powerworm
