The Gamakatsu new EWG Double can quickly and easily turn any frog into a premium frog. Designed to fit most frog style lures, the EWG Double features an extra wide gap with the points angled just right to stay snag resistant, but penetrate quickly when the fish strikes. Based on Gamakatsus popular EWG Superline hooks, the EWG double is super strong to help pull fish from the kind of heavy slop most frogs are intended to be fished in. The non-welded design also allows the EWG Double to be used as a quick replacement hook for larger lures like jerkbaits. The hook simply slides right into place on the lure without having to use a split ring. The EWG Double comes in a corrosion resistant NS Black finish and in a size 4/0 only.

I use these hooks to add on to Huddlestons or other soft swimbaits. This is my hook of choice when rigging an extra hook on the bottom of the bait. I usually use a paper clip to hold the hook into place on the swimbait and never have any problems with the hook. The hooks are really sharp, just like other hooks by Gamakatsu. SN name: bd pettit
