Gamakatsu G-Lock Hook

While these are not my first choice I keep some in the 1/0 size. These hooks are great for smaller plastics that have a hard time staying in place on the hook. These keep your bait in position better. When fishing creeks with small crawfish baits for smallies these hooks will mean more time in the water over the day and more fish. Also they save money because a couple fish is all you get on small plastics using regular hooks. I haven't noticed any less hookups with these hooks so I have no reason to use anything else with my smaller plastics. They make these in really small sizes but I don't Texas rig baits that small myself. The 1/0 will work on some really small hooks. Also because of the angle of the bend these seem stronger than other small hooks. But they will straighten with too heavy of gear and a strong pull but I never had a problem. sb-mrbassky1
