Huddleston Deluxe Shad
4 1/4 inches 2 per pack.

The maker of the best swimbait ever to see water is at it again. This time he has created the Huddleston Deluxe Shad bait. Before the bait was even officially released there was already a buying frenzy. The baits are four and half inches in length and come in five colors blue shad, golden shad, black shad, green shad and lavender shad. The baits are available in Huddlestons ROF 3 and ROF 12. ROF is the Rate of Fall, meaning the bait will fall 3 feet in 10 seconds for a ROF 3 and 12 feet in 10 seconds for a ROF 12.

The Shad has the same tail and overall design as the Huddleston Deluxe Trout and can be fished at a variety of speeds from slow rolled or burned across the top of the water column. Huge bass have already been landed on this bait and many more are soon to be caught. Question is, will you be one of the lucky anglers catching their personal best on Ken Huddlestons new masterpiece? The Huddleston Deluxe Shad in all five colors now!

BEST LITTLE SWIMMER!!!
KEVIN LEE (FRESNO, CA) 2/28/2012 7:35 PM
This little swimmer is awesome, the lakes I fish hardly have any shad and the fish there mostly feed on bluegill or trout instead, but they love this hudd shad so much!! I have caught so many fish with this shad and when I dont get bit, there's almost always a follower under this bait!

Best shad swimbait
Trevor Tippetts (Salt Lake City, UT) 1/12/2009 2:08 AM
This bait looks just like a gizzard shad and looks really good in the water. I didn't throw it for very long and only got bit once, but this will produce anywhere shad are present. The clear colored shad is a good choice in clear water. The tail didn't move side to side as much as I thought, but it still looks like a real shad swimming in the water and will produce some good fish. SBN: TNT

when its tough
scott efird (selma, CA) 12/27/2008 3:28 PM
This bait definitely has its place in my boat. Its smaller profile is great when you don't want to throw a crank anymore. And It gives off a great flash and vibration in the water. I see this bait as a finesse crankbait that works through the cover great. Oh ya stripers devour this bait as well. SN: kingskilla

Great tournament swimbait!
Kyle Chong (brentwood, CA) 12/13/2008 11:34 PM
This semi-new bait from Huddleston is a winner. The small profile that perfectly resembles a shad will catch the smaller fish, as well as the toads that most go for with much larger swimbaits. They swim nicely and look just like a real shad. The paint jobs are amazing, they look so life like. The pictures do not do justice. Comes with a quality hook that does a good job of hooking the fish. What also is nice about this bait, is the price. Pick up some and see what it can do for you! SN:FR0G

AMAZING SWIMBAIT!
Sam Gann (Riverside, CA) 12/12/2008 7:25 PM
Huddleston Shad Swimbaits are a must have in any bass fishermans tackle arsenal. I use this swimbait all year long on my local lake. It perfectly resembles the shad. I have caught more bass on them than anyone can imagine and I have even had big trout chasing it. You can fish it on the surface or drop it down. I personally throw it with 10-12 pound test during summer, and in the winter I throw it with 15lb test. The bait has awesome action and has a laser sharp hook. The bass really seem to just inhale the bait. They don't bother just hitting it. I have caught largemouth on it that are only about 8 inches at the smallest, and the biggest was pushing 6 or 7 pounds. Just the other day I had a HUGE stripper following but the bait was to close to the boat. You gotta get some of these! SwimabaitNation - samgann93
