Product Options

The IMA ROUMBA is a unique bait that creates a natural wake by “wobbling” side to side along the water’s surface while producing an enticing sound that makes fish bite. This bait is designed to work best when fished over shallow aquatic grass, such as milfoil and hydrilla. It’s also extremely effective around boat docks, lay-downs, brush piles, and standing timber.

The IMA ROUMBA produces best results when fished with a medium heavy action, 7-foot rod. A monofilament or copolymer, 12-17 lb. test line will help produce the best action. Fish the bait with a slow, steady retrieve. Be sure to keep the rod tip up and get ready for a massive bass explosion!

The Roumba has a Hidden Sound - Helps Catch schooling fish; catch and trigger fish with the enticing sound. Even without the rattles or a prop it makes a natural clicking sound.

The Roumba is one of those baits that once you see it in action you have to get one. It looks like odd gimic shallow running crankbait but really is tremendous wakebait/crankbait hybrid. I am a big fan of the buzzjet and the Roumba is very similar with difference being I think its a better crankbait and more of a true wakebait. The Roumba has a wide distinctive wobble and wake as a topwater and comes thru grass very well. Of course the price is a little high but you get what you pay for the hooks are among the sharpest I have ever seen and the finishes are almost perfect. The Roumba is a shallow search bait that works great in all but the thickest places. It allows you to wake grass one cast while bumping wood the next. One thing I really like is the fact that it doesnt rattle a nice change of pace from other similar lures. My best success has came using the Roumba as a search bait but often I found myself sticking with it around heavy cover even after bass were found. For wake baits I usually go with a Roumba for thicker grass or when I think I will need to do more cranking or a buzzjet in deeper more open water when I want a louder topwater. I think if you try a Roumba you will find a place for it also. And it doesnt hurt that its still cheaper than a buzzjet. sb-mrbassky1
