Of course, when buying a lucky craft bait, you will be getting the best of the best. They are spendy baits, but they work and they are high quality. I love ripping these guys out of grass. They have a nice wobble to them and the rattle sounds great in the water. You can cast these puppies how ever far you want.

The 3/4oz bait in 1/2oz body

While most lipless baits have a place the LV-500 is made to stay down and cover water. While it catches fish many ways the strength of the LV-500 is that it so heavy (3/4oz)while only being the size of a standard lipless bait. It can be cast a mile and will not come to the top the way some baits do. Its a great bait for any lake when you want to cover water in and is great when you have lots of baitfish. Its size and weight makes it great for schooling fish. I usually use mine on flats or parallel to banks especially rip rap. You can cover a lot of rip rap or rocky banks with this bait fast. Just make sure you parallel the bank it doesn't work great cast to the bank. But don't be afraid to use in grass. If you want a small bait a little deeper its hard to beat. I like the shad colors mostly but I don't think lucky craft makes a bad looking color. If your looking for another search bait or a lipless bait that is heavy for its size the LV-500 is a great choice.

This lure is the perfect size for looking for bigger fish. It’s not too big or too small and puts off a lot of vibrations. The colors are amazing and the smallmouth pattern is my color of choice. It casts a mile at 1/2 oz and is a very fun lure to fish. My best retrieve has been to jerk the rod about every ten feet and let it sink a little. It has produced some big smallmouth for me. SBN: TNT
