Failed my test

For me this product was very disappointing!! I tried to glue tubes together, but work as good as water and oil. It acted like it was eating away at the tubes, not mending as shown in the video. ????

One of the best money savers you can buy
Michael Carter (Winchester, KY) 2/11/2009 7:00 PM
Mendit is to soft plastic baits what a lure retriever is to your hard baits. It allows you get more out of your baits when they start to tear up. I use mine to fix any tear I get in my swimbaits. If its a cheaper bait like a hollow belly I will put the bait away if I have more and when I get home repair the ones I tore up. It works quick enough on the water but I wait if I can. But there have been times in the past where I have ran out of a soft plastic bait and I wish I had something like mendit. I used a lighter in the past to repair lures but mendit works better, faster, doesn't discolor plastic and doesn't burn me. Don't use cheap super glues they wont adhere to the soft plastics like mendit trust me. It takes a little practice but my theory is use as little as possible and you can always add more. You can put some on a toothpick to get to hard to reach spots. A good tip I heard on the more expensive baits is to put a drop of glue next to any spot the bait meets metal hooks, hangers, line tie this will add life to your bait. And remember get on any tear fast before they grow. Also you can keep regular soft plastics on your hook as well with mendit. To me mendit is as important as a hook sharpener or lure retriever. sb-mrbassky1

Awesome product

This product might be the only expenditure I have ever made on fishing equipment that is truly an investment. I can't even begin to tell you how much money I have saved since I started using Mend-it. It will allow you to fix baits...large and small...in a way you never could using the traditional glue products that are on the market. Not only does it effectively bond plastic baits, you no longer have to worry about making a mess in your boat or glueing body parts to baits! The original packaging of this productive allowed it to evaporate in hot conditions, but the new owner has resolved the problem with a new bottle. Regardless of what kind of baits you are using it on, this product will save you money...and I mean a bunch of it! Bass_Daddy

This stuff will save you tons of money when it comes to soft plastic baits. I use it on all my swimbaits and even on smaller plastic baits like senkos and brushhogs. The large size will last you forever. It takes very little to make a repair. SN:FR0G
