The best deep diver
Trevor Tippetts (Salt Lake City, UT) 1/12/2009 1:47 AM
When I started fishing deep divers, I bought several different brands and kinds. The DD22 ended up producing the most fish for me. It dives very deep and creates a lot of commotion in the water. I used it to bounce off rocks and trees and it did a very good job and didn't snag up where other cranks would have. I can't wait to throw some of the darker ones at night because they have been known to produce. It’s my favorite deep diver for many reasons and should be a staple crank in every tackle box

The Go To Deep Crankbait
Brian P (Las Vegas, NV) 1/2/2009 5:43 PM
Bill Norman crankbaits are great producers especially the DD22. I have caught numerous 3 lb plus fish on this bait. The Smokey Joe color works well but I think that the Sexy Shad may even be better. Try a stop and go slow cranking retrieve along chunk rock banks, wind blown banks, points and offshore structure. I prefer to fish this with 10-12 lb flurocarbon and a 7' med to mh crankbait stick. SN: bfishin.

Go to Deep Crank
Brent Pettit (Osgood, IN) 12/12/2008 11:12 PM
As the title says, this is my go-to deep crank. It gets down fairly quickly and stays there. I really like this lure for soft bottoms (sand is the best I have found). It digs into the sand and imitates everything imaginable. I have done really well on both shad and bluegill imitations. the only downside is fishing in rocks. It does not come through them as well as I would hope. The bait is top quality and comes with sharp hooks. I have never had to replace any of my hooks with these lures. I will continue to fish these for years to come.
