Unbeatable for the price! I just got one and I am extremely happy with it. Slings the Huddleston a mile and is very light and easy to handle. d.c.

Went out yesterday and threw the new set up. I should have mentioned before that the rod is the med-hvy model. My Curado is spooled up with 20 lb, P-Line flurocarbon. I cast the Spro BBZ-1 a few times and felt confident in the rods ability to handle the weight. I then hauled off and gave it my best "swing for the fence" cast. It handled very well. Like I said before the rod is really light, and it was easy to hold and reel, very comfortable. Now, I just gotta hook up on something that will hit that Spro!!! Cheers!

I own own seven of these rods in various lengths and powers and I love every one of them. If I was going to only own one it would be the 7'11" HVY. You absolutely cannot beat the price for these extremely functional swimbait rods. I have them paired with Curado 301D's and Calcutta TE 401's and they fit the rods perfectly. You certainly can spend more for swimbaits rods, but you can't spend less for a quality one. Bass_Daddy

I am new to big, swimbait fishing, but this rod looks and feels great! It's really lightweight for how long it is. Tied on a Spro BBZ-1 (slow sink) and it appears to handle the weight of that bait very well. I am very eager to get it out on the water and try it out. I teamed this rod with a Curado 200E7 and they seem to compliment each other well. I'll post another review after I get a chance to cast it all day long.
