The O.B. Minnow offers the best of both worlds. After doing a bit of research regarding a wakebait even a newbie can use, this bait was mentioned by many. They were absolutely right! My seven inch AC's maiden voyage was intercepted on the third cast. I had followers all morning, an experience which by itself will keep you coming back. A five pound spot crashed it so hard a chunk of wood and paint was ripped off...a very small price to pay for the rush. On a stained water environment I even worked it like drunken spook when a straight retrieve failed. Result: five pounders!

I just bought the Allen Cole swimbait. I took it out to casitas to see if it would produce some donkeys. I did catch a 4lb bass. My only complaint is the paint job. The rainbow trout doesn't look as real as I would like. Other than that the wake it creates is nice and wide and it will produce fish. BASS SN
