P-Line Fluorocarbon
P-Line Fluorocarbon will
improve your bite ratio. Fluorocarbon P-Line Fluorocarbon is extruded from the
highest quality Japanese fluorocarbon crystals, ensuring the best knot and
breaking strength available in a soft fluorocarbon line. As the educated angler
knows, flourocarbon has a refractive index very close to that of water, making
it invisible once it enters the water. Because
of its inherent qualities, this line absorbs very little water giving it great
knot strength. Another benefit is the low stretch factor, allowing increased
sensitivity to feel the lightest strikes.

I tested this product on Casitas Bass for the first time last week. I'm very impressed with this line. I normally fish Sunline, but I've found a great alternative line that almost every store carries. Good stuff folks! Pick some up...it's a MUST!

With so many fluorocarbon lines out its hard to pick one. I stick with P-Line because I have been using it for years before the other companies started making fluorocarbon lines. My reasoning is they have been doing it longer and are hopefully better at it by now. That and with a line its all about having one you can trust and I trust P-Line. Like all fluorocarbons its strong, abrasion resistant, low stretch, etc. I haven't see much difference in the Fluorocarbons I tried but P-Line seems to do as good as any. Its easier to tell when not to use fluorocarbon than explain when. So here it goes-don't use it when you need stretch in your line, don't use it any time you might backlash (skipping) or need a limp line, don't use it when you need line that floats (topwater), be careful when using it in short line applications (it shatters at high impact sometimes). It especially good for finesse fishing, clear water and deep cranking but helps at other times as well. I also add a filler line that is cheaper and tie the lines together with a blood knot. Just give yourself more line than you think you will need. You don't need Fluorocarbon to catch fish but it can help in some situations.

My favorite flouro

This is the second type of Fluorocarbon line I bought, and it will probably be the last I try. At first I tried vanish and it didn't impress me so I re-spooled with Pline after hearing good things about it. The diameter of this line is very thin compared to the other lines I have fished with and is the closest thing to invisible I've seen in the water. Hooksets with Pline are very fun because it doesn't stretch as much as mono and is very strong so there is no worry of breaking the line when "swinging for the fences." The knot strength is also unbelievable! I have never had a fish break my line or had a lost lure when casting or hooking a fish. Sure, I've lost lures in trees and broken lines, but it has always been because of my miscues and not the line. There have been times when I have pulled in a whole tree from the depths of the lake. Pline gave me a lot of confidence and I have no problem throwing lures into heavy cover with this line because I know how strong it is. It is my favorite fluorocarbon and I have never had a problem with it. I suggest it to anyone thinking about making the transition from mono to fluoro. SBN: TNT

Good High-end Fluorocarbon Line

P-Line Fluorocarbon is one of the better fluorocarbon's available. Like most fluoro's it has some memory and is a little pricey. But, in my opinion it is a very good performing line in higher tests for flipping, pitching and fishing senko's and jigs. The lighter test are great for dropshotting, just be sure to wacky rig to help minimize the line twist issue. SN: bfishin.
