All Ultra MBX rods feature Fuji SiC guides for increased casting distance and Phenix’s very own specially designed reel seat. This reel seat is allows you to feel the blank directly for increased sensitivity. Additionally, the way the blank goes through the reel seat elevates your palm for ergonomic comfort and increasing casting accuracy.

Crankbait/Jerkbait/Ripbait Rods:

Flipping Rods:
Phenix’s flipping sticks have plenty of backbone with their high modulus graphite and carbon fiber construction.
