The Picasso Shad Walker takes your frog fishing to a new category. The Picasso Shad Walker is designed to mimic an injured baitfish and is completely weedless. Walk The Dog over the thickest of slop, grass, and vegetation like no frog can do. It really shines in open water where it is more effective then a plastic frog and can be twitched, killed or Walk The Dog in a wide sweeping side to side action that teases the fish and pulls them from cover for vicious strikes. The versatility of this bait is endless.

Gone are the days of fish pulling a lure down by its legs causing empty strikes. With the Picasso Shad Walkers legless design a fish has no choice but to get the hooks in its mouth, which means greater hook-ups. This legless feature also allows the bait to skip further under docks and trees and reach areas previously thought unreachable. Sitting higher in the water than a frog it can be fished in rougher water conditions without losing its action or losing site of the bait.

The Shad Walker is 4 long and available in 7 fish catching colors.

Frog meets Punker!!

Such a cool bait. It can be fished just like a frog in the slop and also walks the dog with super wide sweeps. Hard to tie a reg. frog on now.

Great Topwater
Russ Edwards (Canton, GA) 10/17/2011 7:59 PM
I'm not an avid topwater fisher, actually I don't even like it, mainly because it's hard for me to set down jigs (particularly the Picasso Fantasy Football Jigs).. when I saw they came out with a topwater bait, well I had to try it. I started out throwing it with a 6'6" Heavy Rod and 30lb braid. I had heard there was a blade bite on on a particular lake, so I figured I'd start the morning out switching between blades and this Shad Walker. Well, 3 casts in, and I didn't set the Shad Walker down until around 2pm. Spots love this thing, and the action is unreal - walking the dog seems like a natural action of this bait. I cast it out (long casts too, this is not a lightweight topwater lure), twitch it a few times, then just tip the rod and the bait does all the work. I'm working open water humps, ditches, ledges with it because I'm not a shallow water/bank fisherman. When the bite slows down on the Shad Walker, that's when I pick up their Fantasy Football jig and start working the water column.

one of a kind

This bait is the real deal. It is a hybrid between a spook and a frog. It has great walk the dog action. If you looking for an edge give it a shot
