I have been using Roboworms for years. The 4 1/2" curly tail is a great worm that will get you lots of bites. It is super soft, floats high in the water and comes in some great colors. Tequila Sunrise in this bait is terrific in warmer water. Dropshot, splitshot, darthead and even light Carolina rig them on spinning gear with 6-8 lb. fluorocarbon and you will get bit. For better quality bites try threading one of these curly tails onto the back of a small finesse jig such as those made by: Bass Patrol, Evolution and Skinning Bear (all of which are carried by BassTackleDepot). my favorite drop shot bait for casting

While like most people I use alot of different drop shot baits for casting this is my first choice. The Roboworm CR Curly Tail 4 1/2 inch has a very subtle action when dragged even at the slowest paces. Yet when shook it also has the action of any 4inch straight tail worm. I have always been a fan of roboworms and these are one of the best for dropshotting in my opinion. I love the colors especially bold bluegill. The advantage to the little curly tail worm is I can swim it and get a swimming action and when I get to a key spot it and shake. I try to match the bait fish when using these worms by picking the bold bluegill or silver shad colors. If you like casting a drop shot I suggest giving these a try. And it doesnt hurt they made them cheaper at only $3 a pack now.
