Sebile Flat Shad

The first thing you notice about the Flat shad is the amazing glitter effect. Filled with mineral oil and glitter it looks like a cross between a Hannah Montana t-shirt and a lava lamp. But what makes this bait really unique is the vibration it puts out. All other lipless crankbaits have one thing in common a tight action. While very effective the Flat Shad shows fish something totally different. The vibration is more like a traditional crankbait and gives the Flat Shad an action that is very impressive. For pressured bass this my go to lipless crankbait. It can be fished like a normal lipless crankbait or slow rolled with that thumping action that fish havent seen in most places. To make the Flat Shad even more effective on pressured fish the Flat Shad has 1 tungsten ball that produces a low frequency knock instead of the typical loud rattle. Like all Sebile products the Flat Shad is made with the highest quality components and construction. The price while higher is actually a bargain for the quality of the lure. The only downside I could see is the fact that the Flat Shad doesnt offer more solid colors for the dirtiest waters and a louder version might be nice as well. But again that would be something we have already seen. The Flat Shad while maybe not better than existing lipless crankbaits is definately something different and more importantly something that there is nothing like it on the market. Imagine being able to fish with the vibration and thump of a crankbait while having the same ability to rip and pump like a lipless crankbait. If you like fishing lipless crankbaits then I suggest getting a Flat Shad to fill that Wide Wobbling/Quiet niche. For any lipless crankbait fisherman the Flat Shad is MUST HAVE.
