Shimano Convergence Casting
Rods have all the high end features. You will notice a newly designed custom
reel seat that eliminates threads from the hood of the reel seat. This newly
designed reel seat has to be the most comfortable seat ever designed. Also
featuring in this new design is a custom front hood. This hood has been pushed
forward on the bottom of the rod which will give you an extra inch of contact to
the blank. These rods are also Technique specific and have all the best actions
for your bass fishing needs. Shimano Convergence Casting Rods are IM-7 Graphite
Construction and equipped with EVA handles and Fuji Aluminum Oxide guides.

Great Crankbait rod

I just purchased one of these rods, and I LOVE IT !!! I purchased the medium heavy crankbait model and its exactly what I was looking for. The action is perfect for treble hooked lures. It casts great and has a nice soft action, yet it still has plenty of backbone for setting the hook at the end of a long cast, or for fighting the fish. The rod is also made using Shimano's TC4 construction. I know it doesn't say that in the description here, but it does say it on the rod itself. Anyhow........ I don't think you could find a better crankbait rod for the money. And Shimano's new reel seat is super sweet. If you buy this rod I am sure you will love it just like I do.
