SHIMANO... Enough said! It's lite and yet is very powerful. I hope they continue to make this reel for a very long time.

I have 6 new Curado's that I use for swimbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits and everything else. They are way better than the Curado d's and b's. They are light and small they feel great in my palm. I will keep buying these until they get discontinued. SN:swimbaitkid23

For the money, the curado is the best reel around. I just got it and have fished it once, for the size this thing has power! The design is so low profile that it feels like it is part of your hand. The 200 E5 is great for cranking. The gear ratio is perfect and it still has enough strength to pull in the 10 pounders. I bought the 300E for mid sized swimbaits, it has turned out to be my favorite reel that I own for swimbaits. It casts a mile which is needed to get the bait out into the "danger zone." Whatever the occasion the curado is a great reel! SN: BASS

Shimano has done it again. The new Curado E is the smoothest, easy casting reel I have ever used. Throwing a 1oz football head with the reel is so fun. Watch it fly, and you don't need to thumb the spool to slow down. Great value ! -Powerworm
