Original Frog

I have had a lot of success fishing this frog in heavily weeded areas by just casting it out on the matted area and hopping it to an opening in the mat and chugging in VERY slowly across it. I have had fish come up through the weeds to get to this little guy too. I have also had a few good hits in open water on the way back to the boat. I have had a good number of lost fish. I'm still figuring out how long to let them chew on it before setting the hook. The frog attracts fish, and hits for sure though.

This was the frog that started me into the addiction of frog fishing. I had it given to me from a friend, and I had no idea how to use it. I proceeded to have many good days fishing this frog. I have caught more open water frog fish with this style of frog than I have with any others. the only complaint that I have is that the hooks seem weak. I would suggest replacing them with gamakatsu or owner, and you will be set.
