S.O.B. Mini Me

Hidden weight spinnerbaits are a new concept as far as I know. They are spinnerbaits that have downsized profiles with standard weights. The weights are either increased thru the use of tungsten or hidden on the hook shank like the Mini Me. What you get is a downsized spinnerbait that can be fished faster or deeper than a standard downsized spinnerbait. The Mini Me has the best colors and skirts you will find in a spinnerbait. Each color scheme is unique and the components are high quality like you would expect. The pictures dont do these lure justice they are in my opinion the best looking spinnerbaits on the market. For fishability this bait really excels when burned at high speeds on windy pts, structure ect. You can tell from the color schemes that the Mini Me was designed on clear lakes likely having lots of smallies and spots. But they are not limited to any 1 species or type of lake. The heavy compact lure cast well in any conditions and stays in the water at the faster retrieves. Notice the bend in wire the closer the gap is the less drag a spinnerbait has which allows the bait to stay down even more. While burning the bait works great it also excels at fishing deeper when you want small profile. While it may not produce alot of thump the flash and subtle thump is more than enought to draw strikes. My best success has came when burning the Mini Me over grass. The smaller size allows it to stay even higher over the thickest grass and the smaller size helps keep the bait from fouling as much as a standard spinnerbait. If your a fan of compact spinnerbaits then the Mini Me is the best there is. Every serious bass fisherman should own a few compact spinnerbaits and the Mini Me is the best. SB-Mrbassky1
