Nothing goes thru rocks like a wiggle wart. Lock the hubs and hold on because when one of these come bouncing through cover it will get whacked. Keep extra hooks on hand because they go dull quick.

The deep diver for heavy cover

There are lots of good deep diving crankbaits out there. Lucky craft, Bomber, Bagley but none compare to a wiggle wart when bounced off cover. The wiggle wart has a cult following in parts across the country. New people get converted but none leave the congregation. The wiggle warts were the only crankbaits my dad used for years the regular size for med depths and the mag wart for deeper water. For standing timber no bait comes close. There are lots of colors made by storm but really the only two you need are bone and a crawfish color. This isn't a finesse bait it is a bait for banging into wood or rock. a lot of people on lakes with lots of timber swear by it and people on lakes with rock like in the Ozarks swear by it as well which speaks volumes about it versatility. The only suggestion I would make is make sure it is tuned right because sometimes they don't run straight out of the box and sharpen the hooks or change them. I change mine but its still a deal as cheap as the wiggle warts are. The good news is you cant break one. You might lose one but you wont likely break it. They are made to bang off cover and when they do its like sweet music.
They aren't the most versatile but if you want a bait you can plow through deep cover a mag wart is hard to beat.
