Tru-Tungsten Tru-Life Shad Swimbaits

This is a great bait at the delta and clearlake. It is a bit smaller than 4 inches but that is ok with me. This bait has replaced the rattle trap for me. I throw it on braid and rip it out of the weeds. I throw this bait on a Powell 733 and a Curado E7. SN: swimbaitkid23

I have only had this bait for a coupe for months, but I have already caught many fish on it. Including a 7 1/2 pounder recently on a trip to Lake Casitas. Another great part about this lure is the fact that you can change it from a floater to a sinker by adding the provided tungsten weights. This came in very handy late this spring at Lake Cachuma when the fishing was tough. I was fishing this bait on the surface and catching a lot of baby bass. I decided to switch it up a little and ended up catching a limit of fish up to 3 lbs out deeper. The fish that I had caught were full of shad, and this bait matched them perfectly in the shad pattern. The fact that you can change the depth at which the bait swims without even untying it is pretty nice. Not to mention you save a lot of money by eliminating the need to buy multiple lures. So far I have had tremendous luck with all of the Tru Life Swimbaits, especially the shad. And i continue to have luck on it even into the winter. It is really an awesome bait, and I would highly recommend it!
