the Smart Peg: I use the Smart Peg almost exclusively, anytime Im
using a Texas-rigged soft plastic. On a light sinker, you can also peg the
sinker above the lure; it will counterbalance and act as a finesse Carolina rig.
I also use it to flip in heavy cover with a 1/2oz or 3/4oz weight. It keeps the
bait and weight together so the entire presentation reaches the bottom at the

The only way to peg your baits

Lots of ways to peg sinkers exist but these are the best. They allow you to move you peg and don't damage your line. Some peg systems don't work on smaller sinkers but these do. They smart peg allows you to put your sinker anywhere on your line. If you wanted to you make a Carolina rig. And then slide it down to go flipping. The only downside is it not as cheap as some systems but its still not high by any means at 10 for $3 and is well worth it.
