Variability is the Key

II have suggested this bait to many beginning swim- baiters due to its versatility. There are no other swimbaits on the market that I am aware of that allow you to fish the entire water column effectively with one bait. The weighting system is the key and it allows you to adjust the bait to the depth you feel you need to fish. I have run this bait in my pool and it great swim action and it is extremely well balanced regardless of weight changes. I held off from buying one of these baits for a long time because I just didn't like the way it looked on line and in the adds. I finally broke down and got one and I have to say it looks MUCH better in the water. Originally I heard several guys complain about the paint chipping off. I have not had any problem with mine so I'm inclined to believe they rectified the problem.
There are other Bluegill baits that I think are better, but you would have to be willing to buy three of them to keep up with this one. Bass_Daddy

Last I had heard, Tru Tungsten had all of their paint issues fixed on these baits, so I went out and purchased one in the bluegill pattern. I was amazed the first time out at the swimming action of this bait. Even at a crawl, the bait swims really well. I, like others, find the balls to be somewhat of a hassle, but I will mostly fish this as a floater anyway, so its not that big of a deal for me. Hooks and rings seem solid and the bait is built to last. SN name: bd pettit..

I had to have this bait when I first saw it at my local tackle shop. For a bait to be three in one, it seemed like the ultimate bait. Fished this bait for about a month, and never got bit. Seems the balls are too much of a hassle for me, as I lost all but two. The paint job looks great, but from others I hear it doesn't last long at all. Mine never chipped, but like I said others say it does. It swims great, and can be burned like no other.
