I used one today and I caught a bass that was just under 4 pounds. So with that I guess you can say they work. When it comes to action, they don't have the darting zig zag like other flukes. Maybe the tube like tail hampers the action a bit, but it does have a slow fall and maybe that is it's strong suit, maybe a tube alternative? Personally, I think the Strike King Caffeine Shads are the best flukes, but this may have a purpose. So I give it three stars. Scott
