Zoom Super-Salty lizards, for super salty bass action. The Zoom Lizard selection is second to none. Many different sizes are offered for your personal preference. These baits are a favorite of anglers in the springtime and pre spawn seasons. The Carolina rig is what the lizard is fished most on in the spring. However, these baits can be very effective Texas rigged in the spring and summer.

Maybe deadliest soft plastic ever-and my original swimbait
Michael Carter (Winchester, KY) 1/7/2009 2:31 PM
First off the Zoom lizard is the best Carolina rig bait ever. Others are better at times but this one works everywhere and is still the best. I also fish a lizard on a Texas rig in the spring it seems to get a lot of bites in the spring and has a lot of action. But we all know the lizard is good in the spring and on a Carolina rig. But for me the lizard was my first swimbait before I knew what a swimbait was. My all time favorite pond bait was a weightless lizard. I caught a lot of fish letting it sink slowly but I caught some nice fish swimming it in clear water as well. I would slowly reel it in and I would see fish come up from behind and follow it and eventually eat it, well most of the time. At the small lake where I caught my personal best 7+ Largemouth I once had a bass close to the same size as my 7+ follow my lizard 15ft and turn around 10ft from the boat. If my boat was sitting a little deeper maybe I would have caught it maybe not. Point is try a weightless lizard as the ultimate finesse swimbait sometime. They land soft without making a big splash making them ideal for shallow water and spooky bass. And no weedless swimbait will give you the hooking % a lizard will. One color I always like for swimming was baby bass. I don't use a weightless lizard as much anymore but if I was fishing clear shallow water around spooky bass I would still put one on. sb-mrbassky1
